Midwestern Mindset: I’ve seen these tree bark friendly hammock straps, and my buddy informed me how they’re necessary if one wants to not hurt trees. I often see people using regular rope rather than non-bark-stripping straps. Does anyone regularly speak up for the trees when this arises? How do you inform folks?
