‘Sleepwalker (8C+/V16) First Ascent’ Is Climbing Video Done Right http://bit.ly/2DxP87E

The progression. The work. The failures. The unpredictable success. Watching the first ascent of Sleepwalker (8C+/V16) will have you on the edge of your seat.

From mellow comes this masterpiece of bouldering cinema. In it, Jimmy Webb, Daniel Woods, and Keenan Takahashi battle against one of the hardest undone projects in the United States.

On December 15, 2018, after 11 days of effort, Webb completed the first ascent of Sleepwalker, suggesting a grade of 8C+/V16.

Although just under seven minutes long, the simple story arc is compelling and keeps the viewer entranced by the subject — one tough-as-nails bouldering project. Bravo to the climbers and filmmakers involved!
