Building Camping / Hiking First Aid Kit. Can I Improve On This?

I am putting a 1st-aid kit together in a case to take with me when I am hiking and camping, but holy moly it takes up a LOT of room. I was an Eagle Scout and former military, and looking to start to teach my daughters the craft of bushcrafting (firemaking, shelter building, and basic survival). This is what I have so far:

  • 1 first aid booklet
  • 4 ea - 3x4, 2x4, H Style, Fingertip, and Button adhesive bandages
  • 2 - 2x3 adhesive bandages
  • 6 - Butterfly adhesive bandages
  • 4 ea. - Lg / Md / Sm adhesive bandages
  • 2 - Pkts - Burn Cream
  • 12 - Alcohol Wipes
  • 3 - Antibiotic Ointment Packets
  • 1 - Stretch Bandage
  • 1 - Roll Gauze Tape
  • 2 - 2" Rolls of Gauze
  • 1 - Tweezers
  • 1 - Scissors
  • 1 - Safety Pin
  • 2 - 3x3, 1 2x3, 6 2x2 Gauze Pads
  • 1 - Mylar Emergency Blanket
  • 1 - Spray Bactine
  • 1 - Caladryl Bottle
  • 6 - Pepto Tablets
  • 3 - Immodium AD Tablets
  • 2 - Tylenol Packets
  • 4 - Clensing Wipes
  • 1 - Blistex Extra Strength
  • 1 - Bottle Visene
  • 1 - Bundle Q-Tips (stored in 1 Qt. Plastic Ziploc)

What I know I am missing is:

  • Cold Pack
  • Other small medication packets (aspirin, antacids, bee sting stuff, etc)
  • Triangular Bandage
  • Stitches Kit
  • Moleskin

Is there anything else? I have a little bit of room in the First Aid case left, but NOT MUCH, and the first aid kit got large fast.
