Removing the smell of camp fire smoke from eVent jacket

Forgive me if I'm in the wrong place!

I have an eVent waterproof shell jacket that I wore while sitting round a camp fire recently. If course, it stinks if wood smoke now. This in itself isn't that bad - I like the smell! But as it's currently my only waterproof jacket I'd like to be able to wear it to the office again without stinking the place out!

I've tried washing in Nikwax Techwash but that hasn't removed the smell. I'm reluctant to wash it with normal detergent as I've heard it can strip the waterproof coating off.

Are here any top tips for removing the smell? Or should I just keep washing in Techwash for all time?
