Mt Washington advice needed and appreciated!!!

Hi! I have been training to climb Kili in August and very soon I am going to pick up my college aged daughter from an East Coast college, so I figured I could get a little elevation experience in while I’m there.

I’d like to climb Mt. Washington because of the altitude and the difficulty. I want to climb it in one day and then take the cog train down.

Would anybody be willing to tell me if I’m crazy or to give me any advice or pointers? I’m not sure why I’m having difficulty figuring out whether or not I should do this!

Maybe if you could direct me to some good websites or books or even just share your thoughts?

Thanks very much!
